Determine Filter Size

Match the diameter (e.g. Ø49mm) on your lens to the filter size. This is different to focal length.

Mount the Filter

Align the filter with the lens and thread by rotating clockwise. Avoid overtightening.

Rotate the outer ring to select your desired light reduction.

Use our ND2400 to create more cinematic effects when filming. By blocking 1 to 8.66 f-stops of light, you can open your aperture for a shallower depth of field, creating stunning cinematic effects in different and changing light conditions.

2.5 year review - Great variable filter!

This variable ND filter is great, especially for travelling as I can easily turn the filter to control the light and not have to constantly change the filter depending on the environment.

After 2.5 years, it’s still in great condition! Planning to get the same one for my new lens.

Exactly what I needed, as sustainably as possible

I dropped this filter onto a Canon RF 28-70 mm for a week of outdoor shoots in ATL during the Defend The Forest (fitting for an Urth product) & StopCopCity campaign. Seemed like there wasn't a cloud in the sky that week, and this filter helped me get the most out of my lens while outdoors without slowing me down or compromising anything when we had to run inside. Campaign work varies from moment to moment, and covering subjects like this often requires quick changes and leaves a lot of light uncontrolled. This variable ND helped me navigate in and out of shadows and environments.

Image speaks for itself!!

I have the same image of the ocean and rocks, your before and after example. But i bet my location was much more dangerous, traversing the rocks, subject to the tide whereas your Urth ( I have the Gobe version) image looks as if you just stepped of the beach. Looking forward using it again. The 11x17 print is good. Thanks Gobe
