Helios combines the performance of a technical hiking pack with an integrated camera carry system. An adjustable harness, internal frame and load lifter distribute weight and stabilise your gear across uneven terrain, from early starts on trail to overnight photography trips.
Paired with Core Camera Cubes, rear and side access keep your camera within reach without unpacking your gear. An expandable 30–40L roll-top accommodates extra layers, food and overnight essentials.

Does Helios come with a Core Camera Cube?
No, Helios is compatible with the Core Camera Cube system (Medium and Large), sold separately or as part of the Helios Outdoor Photography Set.
How does Helios distribute weight?
The harness system spreads the load across your whole body, not just your shoulders:
Shoulder straps – position the pack high and close to your back for a stable base.
Waist belt – shifts the bulk of the weight onto your hips, the strongest carry point on the body.
Shoulder strap tension – balances how much load sits on shoulders versus hips.
Load lifters – pull the top of the pack in toward your back, so it doesn't pull away and throw you off balance.
Chest strap – locks the shoulder straps in place, cutting side-to-side movement on uneven terrain.
How much can Helios actually hold?
The roll-top expands the pack from 30L to 40L, with 17 compartments to organise gear. At 30L, the Core Camera Cube M fits alongside your other essentials. Expanded to 40L, the Core Camera Cube L takes up the majority of the main compartment, with room left for trail essentials.
Which Core Camera Cube should I get?
Medium fits roughly 2 camera bodies, 2 lenses and accessories. Large fits 3 bodies, 2+ lenses and accessories. Velex-lined dividers can be moved to adjust to your kit, so either size flexes beyond these baseline configurations.
How do I get the right fit?
Fit is a 5-step process:
Shoulder strap height – set first so the pack sits high and close to your back, keeping weight centred.
Waist belt – tighten so it rests on your hips, not your waist, carrying the bulk of the load.
Shoulder strap tension – fine-tune once the waist belt is set, to balance weight between shoulders and hips.
Load lifters – pull to bring the top of the pack in toward your back, so it doesn't pull away as you move.
Chest strap – clip and adjust last, to lock everything in place and stop side-to-side shift.
