1. Set camera mode to Manual ("M") or Aperture Priority Mode ("A"). 2. Go to the Camera Menu > Settings > Find "Release w/o Lens" (page 3 for some camera models) > Enable. 3. To focus manually, search Settings and turn on Manual Focus Assist. 4. If applicable, also switch your lens to Manual Mode.

Gently screw your lens clockwise into adapter until the it snugly locks in place.

Tenderly unscrew the lens from the adapter in a counter-clockwise direction.
It’s a simple adapter, but it’s solid, and has no issues with the screw threading. Does exactly what I need it to, and I’m getting great results with the lens because of it.
